三、项目建设理由和条件
    船用柴油机属于船舶主机，是船舶配套关键设备。福州市现有“马尾造船股份有限公司”、“东南造船公司”、“冠海造船厂”和“华东造船厂”等多家大型造船总厂。近几年，福州造船工业发展迅速，造船规模不断增大，但是，船舶配套产业发展滞后，作为船舶配套的船用柴油机仍需外购，本地急需建立船用柴油机生产企业。
5、项目建设规模和内容：年产大功率低速船用柴油机70台套。项目征地150亩，兴建厂房8-10万平方米，柴油机生产线一条，以及研发中心等配备设施。

7、项目总投资5000万美元，拟利用外资5000万美元。
8、经济效益分析：年销售收入17.5亿元，投资利润率20%，投资回收期6年。

3. Construction reasons and conditions
    Marine diesel engine is the main engine of a ship and a key auxiliary device for the ship. There are several large-scale ship building plants such as “Mawei Shipbuilding Ltd.”, “Southeast Shipyard”, “Guanhai Shipyard”, “Huadong Shipyard”, and so on in Fuzhou at present. In recent years, the shipbuilding industry of Fuzhou develops rapidly and the shipbuilding scale enlarges constantly, however, development of auxiliary industries of ships lags behind and marine diesel engine used as the auxiliary device of ships needs to be out-purchased, therefore, it is an urgent need to build a marine diesel engine producing enterprise.
4. Construction scale and content: annual yield of high power low speed marine diesel engine is 70 piece/set. Land requisitioned for the project is 150 Mu (one Mu is equal to 666.6m2), 80,000-100,000 m2 of workshop, one diesel engine production line and auxiliary facilities such as research & development center, etc. will be built.

6. Total investment: USD 50 million, foreign fund planned to be used is USD 50 million.
7. Expected economic efficiency analysis: annual sales revenue is 1.75 billion Yuan, profit ratio of investment is 20% and investment recovery period is 6 years.
